ATIPIQA maps combine two of my greatest loves: beautiful, distinctive craftsmanship and my passion for travel and new experiences. 

I grew up in a big family. My father his two brothers and their father were all skilled craftsmen. Even as a little girl, I was always learning something about wood: how to saw and smooth, sand and shape it. When I was just five years of age, I made my first wooden toy. It was nothing fancy but I was the proudest girl in the world, and to this day I love the smell of wood, the way we shape it and how it in turn it shapes us.

I’m very lucky to have a career that allowed me to travel often. With my two little feet, I have visited nearly 50 countries so far and still can’t quite sit still! World is a beautiful place, and getting to know it
